First Day City: The First Day Ceremony for this stamp was held at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Betty White had long been an animal lover and was a trustee, donor, and associate of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) and an ??Ambassador to the Animals?? of the City of Los Angeles.
